Consistent with the conference theme – “21st century challenges”, the CASANZ Industry Session will hear from a range of past and present industry and regulatory professionals. You will hear about their respective roles in managing air quality within industry including key risks, challenges, and effective approaches, and meeting and exceeding the expectations of various corporate, community, and regulatory stakeholders. The presenters will discuss key air quality issues facing their industry, how they managed them, and what the future looks like as we move into the second quarter of the 21st century. You will hear about skills and technologies critical to ongoing air quality management, how community responses to air quality are changing, and how this informs management approaches and the industry-regulatory relationship – what works well, and what could be improved. Following the presentations there will be a Q&A session where the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions about the participants’ experiences as air quality custodians within their industry.
