Dr. Praveen P.S. is a senior atmospheric scientist with more than 25 years of experience in air quality management, atmospheric monitoring, and emissions inventory development. His work focuses on advancing the understanding of air pollution processes, designing mitigation strategies, and assessing impacts on human health and climate. He is currently a Senior Scientist in Climate and Atmospheric Science at DCCEEW, NSW, leading initiatives to improve emission inventories and strengthen air quality forecasting capabilities. Dr. Praveen has worked extensively with government agencies across South Asia, establishing air quality monitoring networks and advancing science-policy integration. He has led international field campaigns in collaboration with institutions across the USA, UK, Germany, and Asia, focusing on aerosol processes, emission sources, and exposure impacts. His work has contributed to over 70 peer-reviewed publications, including high-impact journals.
