Biography
Zac is a Senior Air Quality Specialist with nine years’ experience in the fields of air quality and odour.
Zac completed his Bachelor of Environmental Management (majoring in Sustainable Development) degree in
2016 at the University of Queensland. During this time, Zac was passionate about understanding environmental
processes, environmental regulation, and environmental data analysis.
Zac began his career in environmental consulting in 2017 with Assured Environmental after graduating from the
University of Queensland. In his role with Assured Environmental, Zac initially gained experienced in noise and air quality monitoring (source emission monitoring, odour monitoring, ambient air quality monitoring, environmental
noise monitoring) and later progressed to undertaking noise and air quality impact assessments for a diverse
range of projects.
In early 2022, Zac commenced his role with AECOM as an air quality specialist where he has been focused on delivering air quality, odour and ambient air quality monitoring projects for significant industrial and transport infrastructure projects.
Zac’s strengths include his understanding of mechanical and chemical processes, his ability to navigate and understand key regulatory policies and his proficiency with air quality and data analysis software. During his career, Zac has gained experience across a diverse range of projects and industry sectors.
