Biography
Dr Nic Surawski is an Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His PhD was awarded in 2012 from the Queensland University of Technology for his work on alternative fuels and their emissions which received an Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award. Nic has significant experience with the quantification of greenhouse gas emissions, criteria pollutants and also unregulated emissions species from combustion systems with a major focus on vehicle emissions. Nic has delivered externally funded research projects (> AUD $4 million) to a variety of stakeholders both within Australia and overseas in his work such as with city councils, alternative engine design companies and federal environmental departments.
