Biography

Chris Farragher is a Senior Electrical Engineer with 25 years’ experience in the water industry. He has designed multiple model-based control schemes at Hunter Water, most often to improve energy outcomes, working within the Energy Team. He designed Derived Flow and Mass Balance and guided their implementation at Hunter Water - schemes that use existing sensors to infer pump flow performance and mass flows in the wastewater network, enabling smarter, data driven operational decisions. Chris brings a passion for efficiency, and continuous improvement. His breadth of experience means that he brings a “whole of system” view to water industry problems. Dominic is a senior engineer in Stantec’s Water Team with 10 years’ experience in the sector. With Stantec Dominic has completed dozens of infrastructure projects across Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East in wastewater and air quality. Dominic also has 5 years’ experience in Utility Wastewater operations and infrastructure planning.
