CHARACTERISING CHILDREN’S AIR POLLUTION EXPOSURE IN MELBOURNE: THE BREATHE MELBOURNE CITIZEN SCIENCE STUDY.
Biography
Shanon is a Service Leader in Air Quality Scientist at Pattle Delamore Partners in Auckland. Previously, he worked as a Research Associate at Imperial College London. His research interests utilised portable sensors to better estimate the air pollution that individuals are exposed to as they go about their daily lives. These improved exposure assessments are used to provide recommendations on how society can mitigate their exposure to air pollution, change behaviour and to better understand the health effects of air pollution. Shanon holds a PhD in Environmental Science from King’s College London and a BSc and BCom from Otago University, Aotearoa.
