What does a clean, fresh indoor environment really mean?
Odour sits in one of the most complex parts of air quality practice: the space between measurement, perception, acceptability and health.
In indoor environments, this becomes even more nuanced. A space may smell pleasant, familiar or fresh, but that does not always mean it is healthy. Equally, an odour may trigger concern, discomfort or complaint even where the health implications are uncertain.
This forum invites odour specialists, indoor air practitioners and allied professionals to explore what happens when human perception, indoor air measurements, health expectations and professional judgement all meet in the same room.
