Biography
Matt Davies is the Director of Air Earth Environment. He has over 30 years' professional experience including 25 years in consulting as Technical Director Air Quality at SKM / Jacobs and now Director at Air Earth Environment. He also spent 6 years in industry at Origin Energy where he was Head of Environment. For over 10 years Matt has been appointed by the Australian Clean Energy Regulator as a Technical Inspector in their assurance program including NGER, ERF and Safeguard Mechanism. Matt has extensive experience across a range of industrial sectors and specifically in the power and energy sector including coal fired power stations, gas turbines and engines, waste to energy technologies and well as grid firming batteries and renewables. He has a deep knowledge of air pollution emission processes, regulation, air quality and GHG assessment and control / mitigation. At Air Earth Environment Matt is a trusted partner and subject matter expert to industry in the energy transition where he advises on strategy, policy, regulation new projects and existing transitioning assets.
