Biography

Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) and a Master of Environmental Sustainability and Management from the University of Newcastle. He is a PhD student whose research uses networked low-cost air quality sensors to evaluate how to improve particulate matter (PM) and bioaerosol monitoring in the Hunter Region. Mitchell currently works at SLR Consulting as a Project Consultant. His primary experience is in air quality and meteorological monitoring. Mitchell is adept in R programming language for data management, statistical data analysis (e.g., linear regressions, statistical significance tests, machine learning), data visualisation (e.g., scatter plots, pollution roses, calendar plots), and workflow improvements (API data retrieval).
