Armand Atanacio is a senior accelerator scientist at the ANSTO Centre for Accelerator Science. He obtained a PhD in Materials Science in 2013 and has over 20-years’ experience in applying ion beam analysis techniques to samples across a diverse range of research fields from Air pollution to Zoology. Armand has been a key member of ANSTO’s Aerosol Sampling Program (ASP) for the last 15 years and has also been engaged as an expert in fine air particulate matter pollution for the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA. Armand has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications with a Google Scholar h-index of 23.
